remember to wear good walking shoes as there is a lot of down-up hill in this walk. It ends at the beach where you can swim. No washrooms available. Not suitable for kids who are not able to keep up for at least 30 min.

We never get tired of this hike, the river, the waterfall, a little hilly, a perfect outing not too far away from Port Alberni. It took us about 45 minutes. Bring your camera!

If you are going without technology, use some before you leave - google street view the map to the park so you can locate the Ash Main turn off a bit easier when driving. Most of the roads in the area had signs, but Ash...More

A very nice destination for a shortish walk. The road in is in reasonable shape these days and one can easily access the park with a normal 2wd car.

Great place for a scenic walk. Whether you do it for the beautiful sights,exercise or the beach at the end of the trail, I highly recommend checking it out.
