We had read about Victoria Park (a public park) in several guide books when we were planning our trip to Nova Scotia. It is a lovely park in a residential neighborhood. There is a stage, playground, walkiing/hiking trails, ball fields and a stream runs through...More

Victoria Park is a great spot for the whole family!!! Biking trails, hiking trails, waterfalls, playground and swimming pool. Bring a picnic, go up Jacob’s Ladder and enjoy the falls!! It truly is a hidden gem in the middle of downtown Truro.

That’s a must go place in Nova Scotia. Honestly we found it by coincidence but we love it. Amazing waterfalls and trails.

Lots of trails to be had in this park. Beautifull forest with many animals like deer and fox raccoons etc to view. There is Victoria Falls within the Park a Band Shell and a canteen during the summer. It truly is a very park

Walked early to the waterfall and it was worth it. A few other folks in the park exercising or walking dogs. Very pleasant time to be there. Lovely well kept park.

Very good well kept trails but is very busy during the weekends. Would advise going in the afternoon or early morning on weekdays for the best experience.

The park is absolutely beautiful and you totally forget that you are still in the middle of the city. My boyfriend said it reminded him of being in BC. There are a variety of trails for walking or hiking. The waterfalls are stunning. There are...More

The main trail into the park is very popular. On it, you will pass Jacobs ladder (180+ wood plank stairs), after the ladder you can cross a bridge over a small river (you’ll see a gazebo with benches inside). Or continue on... More

You can walk to the waterfall and back to the parking lot with a stroller, but to make a circuit you have to do stairs.
