Nice lighthouse closed to the beach. You can see it from almost all directions. Unfortunately I don't think it was opened when I visited.

After our Kincardine fish & chips experience, we head down the street to the Lighthouse.

The lighthouse , the bridge with the beautiful floral baskets and the colourful marina provide the perfect picture op.

We were visiting the Macphersons park pier and from there one can see the majestic light house of Kincardine standing tall. It looks beautiful with Lake Huron in background.

I visited this place many times as a child. Took my Dad on his last trip to see the place where his Great Grandfather William Robert Kay was the official first Lighthouse Keeper from 1774 to 1899 and he passed away in 1901. Planning another trip here next year and also to nearby Goderich.

Beautiful place to visit. The lighthouse is setup in an amazing spot, which gives it a charming and beautiful look when seen from the boardwalk. The side stairs add to its beauty.
Good place to take lots of photos. Great place to view the sunset and also having the lighthouse as a background gives for great sunset pics.

In the summer evenings of July, you have someone playing bagpipes at sunset during certain days and adds to the charm of the town.
Definite stop by when in the area, especially and preferably when its close to sunset.

No trip to Kincardine is complete without a trip to The Lighthouse.

There is a big parking lot just up the hill so it is a lovely stroll down to the waterfront. The lighthouse stands out with its fresh white paint and red roof. The best view is from the bridge where you can also see the marina and the pier.

I was impressed by the planters full of beautiful colourful flowers- wax begonias and narcissus mostly. Highly recommended!

Great location and sunset gets piped in with bagpipes. Amazing to see the gorgeous sunset while listening to the pipes. How great is this. It happens every night.

The lighthouse and museum are very interesting. It's great fun to climb the spiral stairs and view the lake and harbour from such a unique perspective!

Excellent example of a historical Lake Huron lighthouse that has been lovingly restored to a museum with the living quarters just as they would have been in the day. Take the time to climb to the top and enjoy the beautiful view of the harbour and learn about the areas rich history from all the pictures and exhibits.

With a picturesque harbor, beach, and park as a backdrop, this lighthouse just adds to the ambiance. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse, though I did not. The museum provides exhibits and artifacts from yesteryear , from the local area. Very interesting information given by friendly docents.

Bathrooms, signage, benches. Adjacent to downtown. Good viewing from Harbor St Bridge. Currently some construction being implemented.
