Truly one of the best venues in Ontario to see a live concert. Intimate, great vibe, beautiful acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. The lineup for the upcoming season is stellar, covering all genres of music and entertainment. Comfy seats too! Looking...More
The size of Markham Theatre is ideal. It is small enough that every seat is great.
The Theatre has an eclectic selection of shows, something for every taste.
Certainly any show I have seen there has been superb.
We recently attended a dance competition held at Markham Theatre. This intimate theatre may well be the best live performance venue in Ontario. Not a bad seat in the house, comfortable, lovely lobby and an incredible diversity of acts brought in regularly. I love attending events here and always look forward to going back.

We went last week for the Just for Laughs road show. Although the comedy was pretty raunchy (language) the theatre was very nice. We were in the back row but could see and hear everything very well. Will definitely be visiting it again.
I have been a seasonal subscriber for many years. The 4 plays per year only cost around $84.00 per year. They are a nonprofit volunteer theater group and everyone involved participates out of love for it.
Their plays are always good (mostly comedy). There has...More
