The journey there is beautiful and being there is a unique experience where heaven and earth integrate. The monks and people working there are helpful and kind. There are even bankomats there. The perfumes of the gardens are an experience of its own.

A marvellous island! Unique coast line would make you happy while you are there..You can set up a tent and watch beautiful sunset. Also you can hire a bike and circle around the island browsing magnificent cathedrals.

A mindblower - alace to visit for anyone who goes to Russian Karelia/Lake Ladoga in summer! Monastery area with not-so-well-kept buildings and surroundings. But the athmosphere is magical...the main church is magnificient and the nature around the islands just great!
