The Guesthouse Castelo do Alvito is a small charming hotel inside the old castle at the old village of Alvito, Alentejo, Portugal. While visiting my family's home town of Alvito, we visited the castle as well. While I couldn't find the exact date of it's build, it seems as if the date is is the 1400's during the Renaissance period. You can venture inside and imagine yourself back in that time.
