We paid a short visit to see the visitor centre and enjoy a walk in the estate. The Centre is very well maintained, clean, tidy and extremely well appointed. The restaurant is beautifully designed and there were tables in abundance. There is a shop with...More

Excellent parking for many people. And good walks around the estate. Can go for a walk or have a picnic in summer with small children. Good cafe too.

It seems odd that a road cuts through the Sandringham Estate, but I guess that's a matter of history. We visited primarily to see the house and the church, but there is lots to see and do in the wider estate and the car park...More

Lovely walking through the woods, on a wet Autumn day, collecting fallen Sweet Chestnuts. You have to be quick before the squirrels get them. Even better then roasting them, for an afternoon treat. Abbey loved the forage.

If you mean was it packed, then no. It was busy but there was plenty of time in the house to stop and look and soak up the atmosphere, and have a chat to the guides for more information. The museum, little church and gardens... More
