This pub is OK, again pretty basic, it's larger than expected though, think it may have a beer garden but not sure.

I visit ''The Duke'' once a week on Thursdays and always enjoy the Real Ales which are served there. It's not a ''foodie '' pub but the array of beers is quite excelent. Occasionally there is entertainment in the form of Karaoke which happens roughly once a month on a Saturday night. There is also a Beatles Tribute Band that plays there a few times a year usually on a Wednesday night. There is a very friendly atmosphere with many, many ''regulars'' who drink there. A very nice pub to visit and enjoy the beers.

Great atmosphere, beer and staff... patrons are pretty great too. Had the cozy feel of an old time pub, but isn't dated.

Live band in the back room, playing good Beatles songs, slightly noisy, but band were good. Car park to the left hand side, holds about 10 cars. Bar area busier. Snug area quieter, but service was very slow. Not overly impressed by staff attitude on this visit. Outside got covered beer garden to left hand side by car park. 5 ales, 3 ciders. No cobs left. Toilets had to be accessed through room where band was playing, which made it uncomfortable, 2 ladies loos.
