This is what is missing from Timanfaya. Lots of info about volcanoes and the Canary Island geology. There's even a room where you can experience an eruption!

A fascinating exhibition of information boards, models and visuals that explained everything you need to know about volcanoes. The quality and clarity of the exhibition would keep adult and child engaged. During out visit, the main 40 minute documentary could not be heard in English.

It was thanks to our tour rep that we went to this brilliant exhibition. Wonderful for a free attraction which gave us a surprise simulation of a volcanic eruption. The information boards present explanations of the geology of Lanzarote in a clear and intetesting way....More

This information centre really adds the The Timanfaya experience, giving the background, and additional data that puts the history (and future) of the Island as well as Timanfaya in context.
