Beautiful isolated location, but only a 20 minute hike. Get there before 10 to avoid people who arrive later.

Ok so it’s not the biggest most impressive waterfall you’ll ever see. But it’s pretty much the only attraction in this part of the world. And what makes it different is the whole zen hippy vibe going on. Along the glorious route full of beautifully presented horticultural flora are little entrances to hippy homes and restaurants. It’s a little otherworldly (especially when five Hasidic travellers came along with their ghetto blaster sharing euro pop with all…that I didn’t expect!) and the route is almost more of an attraction than the waterfall (which is nice but you cannot swim…but can get wet!). There is a vegan warung, but not sure how much business they get as heard three people tell the owner they were on a seven day fast…so who eats there!!

I highly recommend it in this very tranquil and uncrowned spot. Les waterfall is located in the village of Les in Tejakula- Bali.

We had a guide with us, he was great and he knew a lot of information about the surroundings area, very knowledgeable guide, a very humble person.

The walking is not steep, making the journey very comfortable and pleasant.

When standing under the waterfall, it’s absolutely beautiful, the power of the water make you feel alive. It’s difficult to describe, you just have to go there and experience it for yourself.

Along the trail, there is also a Chocolate Coffee Shop and mini shops selling coconut 🥥 water to keep you refreshed.

This is a really nice walk, not too long, not too wet, despite recent rains, not to treacherous. You will need to cross one stream. I was very happy to have done this. There was a 20,000 rupiah fee to enter. A lady trying to rent sarongs saying it is necessary, also. I had one on. About 1/3 of the way there, is Gede’s Warung in the Jungle with incredible local chocolates - healthy and delicious!

Excellent waterfall off the beaten path. Go early and enjoy all to yourself. We went at around 10:00 am and were on our own. Great walk in...not too treacherous (about 15 min) with a wonderful chocolate warung half way in.

an hour by bike at an easy pace. The waterfall is interesting. The great thing about the trip is rhat it gets you out of the spa and you get to see what goes on locally, passing through a couple of villages, past homes and along the busy roads. The trip is run by a guide, one of the spa staff, so is very safe.
