Beautiful white sands, clear water with gentle waves, direct view of Mt Mauganui. And afterwards a short walk to the town centre for excellent coffee and shopping, or for the more energetic a hike to the summit of Mt Maunganui

We had a lovely day to visit the beach before our hike to the top of Mount Maunganui. Lots of shells and well-kept. Then a short walk to the main street for lunch. It was a really nice day!

I grew up coming o this beach when I was a lot younger, and have always loved the location and the views. This is a great place for children and enjoying the sun.

Depends on the accomodation you are booking as the Mount has several types... Beach houses/ motels/ bed and breakfast... You would have to check with the establishment. If your flight lands in auckland you would take 3 hours... More

no pool towels as is a public beach not a swimming pool. But you can use your own or buy your own at nearby shops.
