WE were staying at the nearby campground in our motorhome for 3 days, and really enjoyed the walks. The beachfront is beautiful and dramatic in the winter, and plenty to explore and of course the cafes are right there when you need to refresh!

We had a picnic on a nice grassy area overlooking the beach. Great views of the bay and harbor life on the water. Walking distance to food take-away shop. Free parking.

Beautiful beach right at the base of Mount Manganui. Clean sand, clean water, just stunning. Stand up paddle boards and canoes for hire.

no pool towels as is a public beach not a swimming pool. But you can use your own or buy your own at nearby shops.
