I absolutely loved my day trip to Moreton Island. Pick-up downtown Brisbane, ride to ferry, comfy ferry ride then the fun begins The 4-wheel drive trip was exciting, then we went sliding down sand dunes - a complete riot! We had a small group so we all agreed to a 2 km hike up Mt.Tempest for spectacular views of the whole island. A simple lunch at the campsite then snorkeling. Snorkeling the shipwrecks at Tangalooma was incredible! Simple snorkeling equipment and instructions and off we go for an amazing swim through thousands of fish. Just as we were getting out of the water, a dolphin swam up. Amazing day...active but not rushed at all. Our guide "Rhen" was super. He was fun and very knowledgeable. I think this was a perfect day I will remember forever.

The website described the tour in wonderful detail and the experience did not live up to expectations. The food was absolutely terrible and not even close to what they say is included. The tour guide was not going to include all the destinations mentioned in the itinerary until we questioned him and asked him to. He then had to disappear and help the other tour guide transfer guests to the sand dunes as there were too many guests for his 4WD.

We thoroughly loved our day tour to Moreton Island. The weather on the day was beautiful. Snorkelling was awesome, was so much to see & so many fish! Sandboarding was hilarious & so much fun! We were then able to go to the Blue Lagoon which is a fresh water lagoon & was magnificent. Was so nice to wash off all the sand & saltwater after our fun filled day! Our tour guide was very friendly & informative. Would definitely recommend if you have a spare day in Brisbane!

We booked a day-trip to Moreton Island. On Friday evening the trip for Sunday was cancelled, so we didn't had a lot of time to book another trip. So we missed Moreton Island completely. They also didn't had any alternative tour to Fraser Island or comparable experience.

Sorry we couldn't take you to Moreton Island as scheduled. We try our best to run every tour, but unfortunately there are times we simply can't. Be it due to weather, tides or low numbers. Sunrover attempts to offer an alternative when such incidents occur, such as an alternate travel date or alternate tour destination. 48 hours notice is the best we could do, keeping in mind that one phone call can literally determine whether a trip runs or is cancelled.

Had a nice day trip to Moreton Island. Transport from Brisbane to the Island takes a while (all in all about 2 hours) but once you're there it's beautiful. Snorkeling between the shipwrecks is amazing. You'll see hundreds of fish or even big turtles or small sharks. Our guides clayton and his lovely mum were nice and made us feel comfortable! Personally i could have snorkeled longer and skipped the sandboarding. Also i think a guided snorkeling is not really necessary, you just shouldn't go on you own though and always be aware of the currents between the wrecks.

Had an amazing time with our tour guide Dave who showed us basically the whole island in the three days we were there. We went snorkeling, sandboarding, kayaking, hiking, and 4WD... It was all amazing. Dave taught us so much about the island and the wildlife! To top it all off we got to experience being in the water when wild dolphins came to shore. I will never forget my experience and will definitely be booking with Sunrover and Dave again.

Went on a day tour to Moreton Island with Sunrover tours today and what can I say it was fantastic. Our tour guide Clayton went above and beyond to make sure we got to see as much as possible. The sand tobogganing was so much fun the 4wd trip was exciting and snorkelling along the tangalooma wrecks was so special to see so many fish. Thanks Clayton and thanks Sunrover tours it was a truly memorable day

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Rhett gave loads of really interesting information about the island, especially the geography plants and wild life. Really enioyed the sandboarding. The campsite and tents are very rustic but i felt like i was on a proper camping trip in the forest on the island, so i would seriously advise this trip for people who want to rough it up a bit, be warned it is not a glamping trip! we had a campfire in the evening where rhett played and sang on his guitar which added to the fun of the experience.
