A new information sign about Richard Jefferies welcomes visitors to this small wildlife sanctuary. Unfortunately inconsiderate dog owners let their dogs foul the grass areas and make no attempt to pick up even though two bins are provided. The park also attracts teenagers who constantly...More

Nice little piece of Nature in the heart of Surbiton . Don't expect anything amazing but if you are passing it is worth a visit

A haven of peace and tranquillity in the centre of Surbiton. Lovely. Make more use of it. Nice for a quick stroll and picnic in the Summer. Or just a leg stretch anytime. Natural but cared for. Let's keep loving it!

The Wood is a pretty and peaceful little park in the heart of Surbiton, just a short walk from the train station. There's a lawned area ideal for picnics, and a circular walk around the perimeter. There are also lots of blackberries ripe for picking...More
