Absolutely stunning place to stop and take in the scenery whilst having a cup of tea from the little tea van in the car park. Beautiful place, well worth a visit.

We only stopped for a wander along the shore, but some people camp. It is a very peaceful location. You can also see many ponies in the area, particularly towards evening.

Parked up here and crossed the stile into the field and were able to walk right down to the lake. Lovely dark blue colour on a sunny day and lots of sheep all around. Not much else around here but nice for a walk.

Lots of lovely little beaches surrounded by stunning countryside. Great place for a quiet picnic in the sun (take a blanket)
