That's place is a gem. Reasonably priced, lush greenery all around and very healthy looking lively animals. There's lots of interaction with the smaller animals (why doesn't this happen in the UK) and loads for the kids to see.

We thought this was one of the best zoos we have ever visited. Such a nice surprise for a place so tucked away. Can't recommend it enough.

This is in English for all those anglophones and bilingual readers who find themselves in the region. We British are often very retiscent about the idea of animals in enclosures but Valérie, Luc and all the team at the Zoo d'Asson are committed to the...More

I usually don't like zoo's...it's sad to see the animals penned up in little cages and pacing back and forth-not here. The place has a family run, cozy feel, like the people really care, the grounds are well kept and clean and the animals look...More
