Our expectations were FAR exceeded. The hospitality, venues, experiences and recommendations were incredible. The staff is responsive, very knowledgeable, flexible, well informed, courteous, fun, generous with support and always smiling. We would never go to Africa again without the support of Africa Explore Safaris. We have already provided many recommendations.

Dear Judy Thank you very much for this great review and for recommending Africa Explore Safaris to other travellers. It was a great honour for us to plan, organise your holiday and host you on this safari. And we are also glad to read that we exceeded your expectations. This is why we do what we do. We have two basic values by which we run our business. The first is, we stand for honesty, transparency and integrity. The second value is that we go the extra mile, we do it with a smile and we do it every time! I am happy that we lived up to that important measure. Thank you very much from Quinton & me and we hope to see you back here in Africa real soon. Thank you! Abby & Quinton Africa Explore Safaris

My husband and I just returned from a trip of a lifetime. I honestly cannot say enough about Africa Explores Safari. To start with, this trip took place amid the destruction of the Covid-19 outbreak. Our hosts Quinton and Abby went above and beyond making sure we were safe, taken care of and able to get home to the U.S. They were in constant contact with valuable advice and concerned for our safe travel home. I will forever be grateful for that. With that said....what an experience! We were a group of 10, met at the airport and the fun began! Quinton has tons of knowledge and stories that kept my wandering mind thoroughly engaged. The very comfortable van took us to many destinations: Cape Winelands, Table Top Mountain, African Penguins, Cape Point National Park, Chapman’s Peak...and much more. We would love to do another trip with Africa Explores Safari. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dear Tracy (?) I hope I have identified you correctly. We are meticulous in our planning but nothing can prepare us for the virus from hell. We are just very fortunate that you could enjoy the trip of a lifetime before the World was forced to shut down. Thank you for your kind words and please do return so that we can show you more of this magnificent destination. Best Regards Abby & Quinton

Our children have my husband and I this trip for a big anniversary. They and their spouses traveled with us and we were treated so well by everyone on the journey. We were met at the airport in Amsterdam , rounded up with a two other people who also were included in our tour group and helped to find our way through customs and onto the next plane of our journey. Such wonderful staff! When we got to the last airport of the journey, a van was waiting to greet us and take us to Kambuku Lodge. When we got there we were greeted warmly by all the staff, the manager Kathleen, the guides, everyone. So welcoming and nice. Our cabin was clean and restful, and situated next to game pond that was used during the day and night by animals of all types. Super ! The food was excellent, most like a veritable four star restaurant in taste, setting, courses, everything was delicious and so much food each day. The game drives were amazing and everything we asked for. Our guide Eric and and driver Gideon knew so much and made sure we had all the many opportunities to see and photo the animals were were there to see. Their knowledge and experience was terrific and we had close encounters every day with incredible animals in their natural state. So exciting. Katherine and the staff even surprised us with an anniversary dinner just for our family with a table down by the game pond, set with candles and lanterns and fabulous food. It was wonderful. I hated to leave there but we headed next to Capetown for the rest of our trip. Met again by a terrific driver, Craig Dunlop. He was so accommodating and patient with our large group and every day showed us new places and experiences. His knowledge of Capetown and South African history was amazing and we learned so much that enhanced our trip to this beautiful country. He was fun to be with and a superb guide and driver. Would I go again, ABSOLUTELY and I will forever tell anyone who asked what a very special trip this was and how Africa Explore Safaris made it all so possible and the best experience ever!!!

My wife and I used them for a 12 day trip to South Africa and Victoria Falls. We wanted to have several Safaris's, enjoy Capetown, go cage diving to see the great white sharks and more in South Africa. Because several activities were weather dependent, we needed a lot of flexibility in our schedule. They achieved that and more. They are the most responsive travel company we have ever dealt with. Quick responses to our emails and questions. Follow-ups to make sure we were enjoying and getting what we wanted from our trip. Excellent suggestions for possible additional cost, add on activities which we might want to explore, individual guides who were knowledgeable and fun to be with, and willing to remain at locations for the amount of time we wanted rather than what was on the itinerary (after explaining what would need to be shortened and or skipped if necessary.) As I said in the title, I would give them six stars if I could.

We had a terrific time with Quentin, for two days. Our first day included a drive down the penninsula, viewing of the African penguins, lunch near the water, and Quentin's knowledgeable commentary both of the area and the history of South Africa. We ended the day on top of Table Mountain, with amazing views everywhere! We enjoyed the first day so much, we hired him for a second day to take us to the wine country. Wow! So glad we did. He arranged (in a very short time) for three amazing experiences, each one better and different from the prior one. There were six in our group. We would totally do something with him/Africa Explore Safaris again!
