Love the idea of the market but it was so overcrowded that it was difficult to move around and even harder to see what was on offer at the stalls. Bit too stressful for me.

Good food, good produce, fantastic concept. This is really the go to place on a Saturday to get good fresh produce, artisan breads, good coffee, replenish your wardrobe with some special clothes, catch up with old friends and meet new.
The great thing is that there is no pressure to buy anything and you can take your dog with you.
You can sit and chill have some scrumptious food, a glass or two of vino or beer or coffee and look out across the sea and dream of places to travel too

I love the Neighbourgoods market in Woodstock, and to a lesser extend the Bay harbour market in Hout Bay. How does the Oranjezicht market compare to those ? I go to the markets not for shopping, but for eating and people watching.
