The 4-day Garden Route Tour was amazing and this was largerly due to Benjamin. He was incredibly professional, knowledgable and so passionate about his job. Nothing was too hard. The tour was so much fun and I would recommend it highly. The places we visited was so varied and the Garden Route Lodge a real treat. Enjoy!!

We had a great safari trip to Kruger in South Africa. We did almost three days and 4 safaris which were very well organised. Rangers always at the top in term of guidance and information about fauna and flora of Kruger. The trips were very comfortable and they offered us also relaxing and delicious evening aperitives. We did manage to see rhinos, leons, leopard, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and much more. The staying at Mdluli Safari Lodge was a magic experience... you deeply enjoy the silence and beauty of the Park and all facilities are extremely confortable and elegant ... you can't imagine nothing better... I really recommend Gems of Africa as tour operator and Mduli Safari Lodge for your staying ... I really hope to come back again... Guido R. Loria (Italy)

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Garden Route Game Lodge and had a fantastic time. We were visiting Cape Town for just a few days and planned the Safari trip at short notice. Gems of Africa were super accommodating, very informative, professional and always quick to respond to our queries. They are clearly well associated with the best game parks in SA and found they us the perfect 2 day/ 1 night Tour with Garden Route - it was a 4.5 hour drive from Cape Town with a stunning scenic route. It was easy and efficient to organise with them. We were so pleased with our driver, Tom, he had great conversation and passionately spoke about his love of SA - always great to get to know a country through its locals. Absolutely recommend Gems of Africa (and Tom). Can't wait to visit South Africa again!

we booked our stay at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve and we had a fantastic time there. We enjoyed their outstanding hospitality and the very delicous food. The game tours were the absolutely highlight. Everything was perfect organized by Gems of Africa including a very pleasant transfer

We had a great safari trip to Kruger in South Africa. We did one full day (10 hr) safari which was much easier and more comfortable than expected (!) as well as a shorter night-time one, and a morning one. The full day one was worth it as you can get much further, and although we didn't manage to see rhinos or a leopard we managed loads of elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, hippos and much more

Aquila Private Reserve was really great! Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were really good.
The staff are all friendly, the rooms are really nice, spacious, comfy. We only stayed for one night but it was very pleasant.
We went on two game drives. They were both pretty similar so I believe one would be just fine.
We saw a lion, lionesses, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and antelopes. We didn't get too close to them which was disappointing, we thought it would get closer than that. The 4x4 cars are awesome, open air, there are blankets provided because it could get very cold. You can reserve a private car, but it was fun meeting new people.

We love the experience beginning with the bookings with Mpho who really was so helpful and reassuring. We were whizzed off by an excellent driver to the lodge in just 5 hours with a pit stop in between. Very comfortable car! The lodge is so beautiful and the tent/room was big and comfortable with clean bathroom facilities and even a fridge for us to store wine and chocolates! The surroundings were so serene that we keep thanking God for allowing us to be amongst His creation. We went on the evening and morning drives and while the animals were shy, we did see enough to be starry eyed! Food was great, service was spectacular and this lodge is highly recommended.

Gems of Africa are an outstanding company. Mpho handled everything perfectly from start to finish and Janine got back to my enquiry while the main offices were closed for Easter break. Thank you both so much.

Janine and Lindo went out of their way to make our dream trip a reality.
We booked Botlierskop safari park really last minute and they got us the best deal and we’re so helpful and efficient.
Botlierskop was so beautiful, we had the best guide and managed to see all the animals in the height of luxury. Highly recommend!
Would definitely use them again!
