However, I’d like to provide clarity regarding your comments, as we believe this review is not a fair reflection of the events.
When you contacted us for a last-minute booking, we found you lost in our office park looking for another business. We stepped in to assist you. We informed you of the number of people booked at the time of your inquiry we have no control of how many people end up booking by the day of the activity. You mentioned during our communication that you were aware from the operator’s website that group sizes could be higher. Sadly we can never determine the exact numbers. Despite this, you chose to proceed with the booking.
On the day of the tour, you saw the group size, participated in the pre-departure activities, had lunch with the group, and boarded the boat without expressing any dissatisfaction. We also confirmed with the diving company afterward that there were sightings of sharks, whales, and seals, as evidenced by group photos from the day where you were smiling and fully engaged.
It is unfortunate that you later demanded compensation, claiming you were misled despite being aware of the circumstances and enjoying the full experience.
While we strive to meet all our guests’ expectations, dissatisfaction should always be raised immediately to allow us or the operator an opportunity to address concerns fairly and promptly.
It’s disheartening that this was not done in your case, and instead, you’ve left the only one-star review on our otherwise excellent TripAdvisor page.
