I spent a fabulous day and a half doing a refresher trad course with Megan. I'm looking forward to heading out with her again as soon as the schedule permits so that I can gain further experience. Her training was very thorough, and her calming nature is exactly what one needs when on a rock face. Vertigo Adventures were also excellent in both their communication with me and their flexibility to customize training to my needs.

Having only ever climbed indoors in the UK and being fairly new to lead climbing l, my wife and I decided to book a gym2crag course for the first day of our holiday. Chisai from vertigo adventures was really helpful in finding us a guide on a day that suited us and we went out to silvermine crag with Alex for the day. Alex was fantastic. He was relaxed and knowledgable and took us through things at a reassuring pace. We felt safe but challenged and we're blown away by the climbing we were able to do despite it being our first time climbing outdoors. We've since taken one more days instruction in Montague and are now confidently climbing outdoors on our own. Huge thanks to Alex and all at vertigo adventures, we couldn't have done it without them. ALSO they have a great shop with approachable and knowledgable staff happy to help with kit and tips for adventures beyond Cape Town.

We spent two days on Table Mountain with Kai, who graciously guided our party of 3, including one 12 year-old beginner. Kai is competent, confident, generous with his time, environmentally aware and a good citizen of the earth. Tristan organized things from afar and was also generous with trip planning and resources. They both were flexible with weather, which was important in our winter trip. They were 100% on delivering the experience we sought.

I did a multipitch climb with Kai up Table Mountain. I regularly climb in gyms, but have only climbed outdoors a few times. I had a great time hiking, climbing, and chatting with Kai. The routes we did were honestly a bit easy, but as it was the first time I had trad climbed, I was happy to not fall at all. Kai also talked me through a traversal over a roof that activated my vertigo (not actual vertigo but good lord did my hands get sweaty). 10/10 - this was a great experience.

Spent an amazing day along the face of Table Mountain. I definitely trusted Teodore with my life during all the routes. For my first-time trad climbing, he challenged us and adjusted accordingly to our strengths and weakness. 10/10 would recommend. 5 stars. 2 thumbs up with him and his guidance.
