St.Mary's was built between 1285 and 1305, the tower in the fourteenth century. Much restoration has been done over the years. Walking around this surprisingly large church, the eyes keep finding more and more to enjoy. Make a point of visiting this wonderful church.

Beautiful 14th century church and Village Green once you get past the 1950s paper mill which is rundown and an incredibly ugly introduction to the village.

Do not miss this gem in the Kentish tour of parishes. Well kept, musically diverse, great bells and just one of those hospitable and welcoming corners of Anglicanism.

Beautiful church, lovely service and a very funny vicar, but whose sermon really hit home and thought provoking.

What a beautiful church, next time you are out on a trip call in and have a look. Well kept grass, lots of history and friendly village people to talk too. Afterwards why not walk up past the mill to the Artichoke for a drink...More

A lovely church in a lovely setting. The Curit Phil Greig was most charming. Congregation really friendly, however this church could go a long way by being more upbeat to encourage a younger generation. Hopefully with the church music club last Saturday of the month,...More
