The Club offers volcano tours even to non-members. We are a family of four, with two kids below 7 years old, so we took the regular trail, instead of the secret trail. The kids enjoyed the boat ride but not the trekking, so my husband...More
I just spent a wonderful afternoon sailing a Laser at the Lake Taal Yacht club. As an avid sailor, I have found it’s unusual to actually be able to sail while traveling. Most resorts or rentals have the odd sunfish or windsurfer but never a...More
We rented a Hobie and had a famtastic time. The boat was in excellent condition, and the staff were helpful getting us launched. We had a wonderful sail all around the lake. It was pretty windy and as we were returning to the yacht club...More
Booked online the standard hiking tour of the Taal volcano. My girlfriend and I arrived early at 8am to beat the traffic out of Manila on a Thursday.
We were the only ones to show up and were quickly checked in. Besides offering food and...More

We had a great time taking the secret trail on horseback. With 2 young children and a teenager with allergies issues, hiking was not an option for us. The kids really enjoyed the ride on horseback. The experience of going to a live volcano was...More

Thanks for the review. We are doing some clean up and fix up. So this review makes us feel good and helps us keep going on some of the new small additions and refurbishing that make a big difference.
We just went there to kayak.
This facility should be shut down for negligence of their guests' safety.
They wouldn't stop you nor warn you if a thunderstorm was coming. A foreigner from a next door resort screamed at us to go back because a...More

I really have to laugh pathetically at this. The "foreign guy next door" was me, the manager.
We rent kayaks by the day. We do expect kayakers to know what they are doing when they rent from us. Our rates are for kayak rental not...More
Yes. In theory, its possible that there could be a day when it was so rainy and slippery that the guide would tell you that you had to get off for a few meters, but I havent experienced that. Anyway, if the weather was that... More
Yes. In theory, its possible that there could be a day when it was so rainy and slippery that the guide would tell you that you had to get off for a few meters, but I havent experienced that. Anyway, if the weather was that bad, we would try to convince you not to go, and we would give you a raincheck if you dont go. If you prepay, your ticket is good for a whole year.
