Had a nice afternoons visit to this rambling sanctuary which has more than just shire horses to see. There are sheep and goats and pigs and llamas and all kinds of other animals snd birds to keep the pig kids and little kids amused. Well worth a visit.

What a beautiful place! We easily filled 2-3hrs here. So many animals to look at and pet. All the animals looked so well loved and happy. Great play park for the kids too. Stories of each animal were really interesting and the perfect length to quickly read.

Anywhere that tries to care for abused or abandoned deserves consideration. Everything here is animal focused with animal welfare at its core. As a showpiece for the charity the Centre is just brilliant and we left and always leave feeling so chilled and appreciative of the work they do.…

A lovely day out I would truly recommend. Staff were professional, friendly and polite. The range of animals was brilliant and all animals were well looked after. So lucky to see such lovely Shire horses. All areas were clean and well maintained (although I'm sure they would appreciate more donations for all their hard work). I felt safe with all Covid safety measures in place. I had a fantastic visit during what has been a difficult year. Thank you Hillside!…
