As others have said, the short walk from the end of Manzanillo beach is beautiful with some great viewpoints. HOWEVER, the path to Punta Mona is less than straightforward. My friend and I lost the trail and signposts after 45 mins or so and found...More

Yes it’s gorgeous. Drive past Maxi’s down a dirt sometimes gravel road (short walk if arriving by one of the many local buses). Many days the shaded area off the beach are filled with families grilling and chilling. Hey bring your cooler. At the end...More

Tino is the bomb. He is a local who knows everything about the flora and fauna of the Caribbean Costa Rica jungle. He is intelligent about current events affecting climate change an deforestation. He is multilingual. Highly recommend him

Easy and nice walk through the area, with chance to spot small lizards, bugs, birds. Some parts of the walk provide nice shadow which can protect you from sun. It is short walk, worth to stop.

Very sorry to hear about robberies. Our hike was very pleasant even though we were unarmed. The trail is very scenic and Miss May Point provides some wonderful photo opportunities. It had rained quite a bit so our jungle hike was shortened due to a...More
