I am a regular visitor to this sanctuary from the traffic in the centre of Hawkhurst and can think of no better place to take truly excellent coffees, teas and cakes (made by a local lady – none of your industrial muck). For a quiet...More

I’m not a keen cinema goer, the whole multiplex experience leaves me cold - and don’t get me started on the Great Pick n Mix robbery! The Kino at Hawkhurst was a breath of fresh air. A beautiful building, sympathetically restored made a perfect setting....More

A true village gem. Lovely little cinema comfortable large seats, wonderful cafe in the foyer and you can take a lovely beer or glass of something in with you. All the recent films shown and good varied choice

Usual English weather made us visit our local cinema. Nice informal auditorium, which was clean and spacious. Nice staff and food. All was reasonable priced

Beautifully situated. Excellent Cafe / Bar with great atmosphere and first class staff. The most relaxed ambience anyone could wish for. First Class, Five Star experience and recommend everyone not to miss out. Make a visit, well worth it and you won't regret it.

I went here in January with my grandparents to watch Darkest Hour. Food is not overpriced, service is good, and there aren't many adverts before the film begins. Definitely recommend!

Four of us attended this Hawkhurst cinema, and I understand it has recently been refurbished with comfortable seating. If it is still the case that popcorn is not allowed, that is marvellous, as there is nothing worse than hearing people crunching away while others are...More

Comfy seats, friendly and helpful staff, nice cafe with a good range of beers, lagers, ciders etc. during licensing hours. A cinema for ‘grown-ups’. But I’m sure good for children’s films too.
