We had visited the museum some 4 years ago, and we were surprised how much was added in the meantime; a whole Slavic "living" village! It really is living because an association of volunteers is constantly enhancing it with new buildings and objects so that you get the impression of being projected into the past. A real experimental archeology place. We loved it all, my husband (who had not wanted to return) got so enthused that he started reading up on Slavic tribes.... Congrats and thank you! to the professor and his team of volunteers, who will continue the experience we hope so that we can see even more next time!

Great facility with attention to detail. You could do archery and the staff were very helpful. Well worth seeing.

Wow, lots of carefully assembled artifacts! History is wonderfully archived. But without information boards or - even better - narrated history, the learning and enthusiasm factor is low. Great accompanying activities by professional AND enthusiastic amateur historians are the real highlight! Unfortunately only until 2 p.m. Use the potential and let the helpers record an audio. It will definitely be good!
