Absolutely lovely grounds with a beautiful circular walk. Must look stunning in May/June when the Azaleas and Rhodedendrums are out. Unfortunately, by late August most of the colour is gone. That said, still very much worth a visit. Good cafe if you fancy a stop...More

Our first visit to the gardens and we had a lovely walk with plenty too see of interest. Our one year daughter enjoyed the closeness of the trees as we walked around. Followed by a lunch on the terrace served by the friendliest staff.

Stopped off for tea and quiche after a 10 mile walk around Giant Cerne Abbas, excellent can't fault it. You can pay and see the fabulous gardens or just use the cafe, would definitely recommend it. Open to everybody even dogs.

The long spell of hot weather had done some damage to some of the trees, but it was still a lovely place to walk around. You need to allow plenty of time for the circular walk, but it is well worthwhile. It was nice to...More

What a lovely afternoon spent in Minterne gardens, the walk features great views of the historic house, lakes and stream that eventually cascade into the lake. Well worth the admission price.
