I really don't think this "chalk" depiction is as visually significant as some of the other ones in the area. I believe the best view is from a roadside overlook on the road to Sherborne.

Stayed locally and walked to the bottom of the giant. Top tip...you can see more further away so no need to walk up it!

As all the other recent reviews have said, the giant is sadly not very visible. If you have an interest in these things or are passing it's definitely worth a look. Sadly the white outline is faded and he's only really visible by the undulations...More

Cerne Abbas is lovely as is the whole valley. Peaceful English countryside at its finest. Great walk over and round the giant but if you want a good view of it, you’d need to walk on the opposite side of the valley to gain height....More
