No dogs, unless you go on the east beach which is not that good. Weather was good and the sea flat, wouldn't go back in a hurry. However the walk from Cadgewith is pretty impressive

Kennack sands is a great beach in the sense that it is very ‘versatile.’ The sea is relatively calm there, and doesn’t become immediately deep and is good if you just want a puddle. When the tide is out, almost thousands of Little Rock pools...More

We stayed at Sea Acres holiday park so the two beaches are a short walk from there. People have mentioned that it is a narrow lane but there is a path behind it that cuts most of the road out. It is not steep either...More

For a lazy day at the beach, Kennack Sands has just about everything you would need. Sandy bits, rocky bits, and a sensible strategy for keeping a separate area for dogs. There is decent car parking and a couple of cafes as well. All you...More

Nice sandy beach on the coastal path (we walked there from Cadgwith, just over 2 miles). Divided by a rocky outcrop, one side (east) dogs allowed, other side has cafe and toilets.

Spent a good few hours here walking the coastal path with my pup and then back over the beach through the rock pools. Even in February the beach was busy with families rock pooling, surfers and dog walkers. I can imagine it to be a...More

We had a lovely walk along the beach on a sunny day. The tide was on its way out leaving a huge expanse of sand. Also walked the coast path above the bay to give great views looking back

I love this beach. We visited this beach on a intermittently sunny warm/cool day, when the sun was in it was cool and when the sun was out it was warm. Despite this hot cold stuff one brave soul remained sans shirt and trousers throughout...More

Its ok for swimming. There is a cafe and toilets there and a large car park. The last bit of road down to it is very narrow if you are driving. The furtherest beach ie the East beach is dog friendly. Lifeguards are on duty... More

Yes you can, The South West Coast path joins the Lizard and Kennack Sands. It's about 5 miles but it will take you about three hours because it is quite hilly and so extraordinarily beautiful that you will keep stopping to... More
