Amazing diversity of wildlife without the crowds. More remote than the Serengeti Ruaha benefits from having fewer visitors which makes game drives more relaxing and gnerally a more intimate experience.

This is the dry season and can average 27C/81F during the day and 14C/57F at night. I would assume a good netting without holes and tucked in should be good.

The park entrance fee is $30, but you need a car to get there and can't go in without a guide; not sure what the weather is like in April since I don't live in Tanzania!

I used a company in Iringa called Santiago Safari and spent 24 hours in Ruaha National Park. A guide called Roy Robert Mahimbi was our guide, look him up on Facebook to ask for prices :)
