This temple is the oldest temple in Singkawang and located in the middle of the cross road. Usually a city will have a fountain or statue, but not in singkawang. They have a temple and also a mosque.

They said this the oldest and crowded temple in Singkawang. Located centre of town. Nice atmosphere here, nicely located, also can see the Grand mosque behind it. Well maintained. Landmark of Singkawang. Walk around the surrounding road to see the life of locals.

The best time u visit this temple is in Lunar New Year, on the 13th day, they held "buka mata" ritual which means the dragons' eyes are open and they can start the dragon parade.
