If you're a Shoreham resident, it's a pleasant place to come for a walk by the beach but while there are some chunky wall remnants here, the fort wouldn't really warrant a lengthy detour/special visit. Free entry. Parking charge.More

The fort has been beautifully built with a flint facing. The volunteers who are renovating the structure are doing a wonderful job. Let your imagination fly and you can see how the fort was like when Napolean threatened our shores.
