After visiting many places on the island this monastery is worth a visit. Good thing for men is that you can tease the women about what you saw inside the church, which is forbidden for women....

Nicely situated monastery. The museum has a collection of interesting icons, artifacts and historical documents. The main church is beautifully decorated, but men only.

We rent a scooter and stopped by this beautiful old monastery. The monastery is quite large but I suppose one hour is enough to see the place. There is a small restaurant/cafe in the monastery area.
