A formerly fully functioning machine belt driven machine shop. Very interesting history of the site is shared via outside signage. Inside you will be met with the smells of a machine shop that is suspended in time, just as it was when the owner died....More

Yes my husband was a machinist so he loved visiting this small museum but even if you think you aren't interested, our guide made the history live. The way people used to work is an important part of our heritage and a machine shop museum...More

That's how my husband felt when he walked in here. He has been in the trade for 40 years. He so enjoyed looking at the old machinery and talking to young Noah about it all. We spent quite awhile there. I hope they really look...More

The tour guides made what looked like a small walk-through in a few minute type building into a very interesting hands on experience with lots of neat stories

A great example of a very old machine shop. All the original equipment is there, and is still runnable. It's all run by belts. The staff were friendly, had good historical knowledge, and we're open to questions and discussions.

My husband and I spent an informative hour chatting with the curator of this one of a kind museum. It looks humble but is chalk full of history.

As a mechanical engineer and a tool and die person, this was a great walk into the past. Young man serving as a guide to the museum was well informed, enthusiastic about tools in general.

It was closed for the season and I wished it was open. I looked in the window and was impressed. It was very close to what i remember as a kid. If you want to see what people worked with years ago I strongly recommend...More
