The Nature Museum is a great place to spend the day. The butterfly exhibit & survival of the slowest exhibits are pretty cool. The entire museum is well laid out & quite interesting.

The building has a giant white balloon jellyfish in a glass enclosure which is displayed above the main entrance. The colours at night always attracted me to go in, but one day I decided to pay a visit while checking out the butterfly exhibit. Entering...More

We decided to try their event on every last Friday of the month. With 4 different DJ, all on a different floor, we had a lot of choice to go dance on and we were able to visit the museum too.

For $14 general admission I think you get good value. They have a great dinosaur section with an informative video presentation. The Bus displays are very fun to scare people with, a good selection of arachnids and insects. I only had a couple of hours...More

The butterflies were amazing!!!! We had a fantastic time visiting the museum. Everything was well explained. The only negative is the parking......had to wait until someone was leaving to be able to park. If the parking is full the attendants should state that before taking...More

The exhibits are spectacular and you need at least 4 hours to take it Albin especially if you purchase the tickets to the butterfly or sloth shows

What impressed me the most is the architecture of this Victorian marvelous building. Of course the exhibit is excellent.

Plenty to see and do. Lots of interactive things for kids and adults. If you need exercise take the stairs and start on the top floor and work your way down. There is elevators.

If you have young children, this would be a great museum to visit. However, as an adult (50 plus) I enjoyed the other national museums more. The top floor was the most interesting which explained life in the north, plus the exhibit on climate change....More

We went to the museum with a 7 year old boy. He loved the dinosaur exhibit, which has great dioramas, interactive screens, and great bones. The rock section is also engaging, and there are many interactive machines where you can heat and transform rocks. The...More

Thank you for your inquiry. Apologies for the delay. Summer is a busy time, particularly on a rainy day, or on an extremely hot day when it's even too hot to be at a beach. We open at 9 am. If you arrive early, you won't... More
