This is a must to see and take in during the Ottawa Tulip Festival with it's many bright colorful tulips and vendors within. Located on the Rideau River with great restaurants and boats to rent, etc. It's like being in Holland during the Keukenhoff time.

A summer day, on their deck overlooking the lake, appetizers and local beer. Living the dream! Nice service and seating for our party of 10. Walked back to our Glebe B&Bs afterward.

This is a favourite spot in Ottawa for me as I enjoy going for walks along Dows Lake and looking at the tulips during the tulip festival each year. The Pavillion itself is home to a few places to eat as well paddle boat rentals.

Nature in the city centre. Beautiful area, great for picnics, walk, biking. Consider visiting in May when the tulips are in bloom.

We brought out own kayak to go on a short tour of the canals / lake area. We were surprised to learn that this launching off point was free for use (near the kayak rental area are some steps you can set off at). The...More

We rented single kayaks. Nice calm water. Very helpful staff. Not too expensive, about $20 per hour.

I would highly recommend going there during Tulip Season when the flowers are in full bloom. The place feels like a dreamland with its vast expanse of tulip gardens. You can get a paddle boat or a canoe to take out onto the lake from...More
