Memorial Park is a lovely, treed park on the south side of downtown Oshawa. Great for a picnic. Concerts in the bandshell are usually quite good.
Once the sun sets, I wouldn't go near the place. Well known as a drug haven after dark.

Visited the memorial park in 2016 summer for the carnival festival. It was a blast with artiste from the carribean and a few members from reputable organizations giving their experiences living in the surrounding areas
