Walked up from our Airbnb (15 mins) along Agricola St which was far more interesting than the Hydrostone "so called" Market which is just a short strip of overpriced craft shops and cafes. Don't bother, folks. It's not worth the effort.

We toured this spot just north of our AirBnB... it was an interesting neighbourhood. The whole area is full of unique restaurants, cafes, and shops. Worth an exploration. You can get to it using the Hop On Hop Off Tour.

The neighbourhood and history here is interesting and might be worth the visit, but don't come for the "market". Made up of only a few shops, I honestly didn't even know I was at the market - I was definitely expecting something a bit bigger....More

Really love this spot . Excellent little restaurants and shops . We come here often for lunch . This is a really old unique section of the city that was rebuilt after the Halifax Explosion .

This is a little trendy area of Halifax that's great to stroll around, or to stop for a coffee or meal. Restaurants are a little more pricey than other places in Halifax but it does have a nice vibe!
