We stopped in here on a whim just to see it. Compared to Regina or Victoria this is a very small legislature….however it is Canada’s first so interesting none-the-less. Quick tour – honestly takes less than 30 min. You can choose to have a tour...More

We had a wonderful visit. Not to be missed is the exhibit on Joseph Howe and his trial to secure freedom of the press. The building is beautifully maintained and the staff super friendly.

Found this by accident, it was were we picked up the bus to return to the port. Lovely building, security more than willing to tell you about everything.

When we visited, there was no evidence of tours being offered. After going through security, we were free to wander on the first and second floors. We were about the only tourists in the building. It is a beautiful building, especially considering the resources available...More

We did not take an official tour - just wander around on our own. A very good display on the main floor with a timeline of the major events explained.

We took a private tour of Province House and the tour guide answered questions and took us through the building. The Legislative library was well worth a look. If you have several days in Halifax, I would recommend a visit.
