We aren't big sparkling wine drinkers. However, we did stop for an enjoyable wine tasting. As a result we picked up some good Presco.

I hadn't intended to visit L'Acadie on a recent visit to the Wolfville area but was passing by and thought I might as well pop in. The vineyard has gained some recognition for their organic sparkling wines made in the "Méthode Traditionnelle" of the French....More

Located in the charming Gaspereau valley, this small vineyard was the first in Nova Scotia to be certified organic. It’s renowned for its sparkling wine, some of which have won French awards and which are made following the same traditional method used for Champagne. Another...More

If you love sparkling wine like I do, you can't miss this place or their wines. L'Acadie Vineyards specializes in traditional method (Champagne style) wines and they excel. Whether speaking with owner/wine maker Bruce Ewert or one of their passionate, knowledgeable staff, you will find...More

A surprisingly disappointing experience! We have never been on such a terrible tasting. Staffing are unfriendly and inattentive and generally uninformed in winemaking. The amount of wine how much they pour into the glass is just outrageous, it's about 10ml! In this case, it is...More

For $5 you can taste three of their wines- mostly sparkling. The owners daughter explained the wines to us but it was a bit hard to hear because there was a large group of very talkative women on a wine tour- obviously having a good...More

Stopped here while on the Wolfville Magic winery bus tour! It is a beautiful place, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The fact that they are organic is very impressive and admirable, and their sparkling wines are very tasty!
