Bobbie treats you like family visiting from out of town. Great experience. Hot tea, cooked fish, great viewing spot and an education on their heritage. No photographer or big bus group - just a man and his family making you feel welcome. It’s warm in...More

If you are visiting Yellowknife and need to choose only one tour, this is it. Bobby will tell you all about fishing, trapping, drumming and Dene culture. A true privilege to talk with him and know more about his culture. We spent the best four...More

B Dene tours came highly recommended from some of the local people I was speaking to as I organised our trip to Yellowknife for an insightful tour of the local culture. But from the very outset it was very difficult to communicate with Bobby since...More

we drive first in the van, than snowmobile, arrived at cabin, listen Dene's stories, prepare and grilled fresh fish, had enough option of drinks and snacks, practice drumming: so you have full experience and if it is not cloudy you see aurora.

We went on one of Bobbys aurora tours. It included pick up in his vehicle and a drive down the ice road to his dene camp. We saw the most incredible aurora and got the best pictures! We chatted inside his cabin about his tribe,...More
