set aside an afternoon to visit the museum while you are here, it is time well spent and you will learn some great things about life in the north.

This is a great way to learn about northern Native culture and history. Admission is free with donations graciously accepted. Don't miss the short video about the last moose-skin boat. Fascinating.

Nice displays of wildlife and history of the Northwest Territories. Be sure to go next door to the capital building and take the tour there which is very very good.

Really enjoyed this. The only disappointment: the cafe was only open for lunches and of course we were there later and not able to go back for a lunch. We heard it was excellent

This pkace is a rrgukar for us when we visit Yellowknj Ife. Great spot to keep kids interested. It fills a void in a City that has limited places to visit.
