Great food, music no brews! Really any pub is good to visit although our favourites were Greensleeves, Celetic hearth and oreillys.

This is the centre of the food and entertainment scene in St. John's. Well worth the time to visit the area as well as the nearby shops on Water St.

Have to go to George Street on a weekend night to get the full St. John’s experience!! Take the time to go to a few different places. Some have live music.

Lots of bars in a very short block, some serve food to help soak up the spirit. Visited Christian’s bar for a traditional ‘screech in’ experience- simply fabulous, great entertainment and lots of spirit! As a totally pedestrianised area, it’s completely safe and taxi’s are...More

When I lived in Newfoundland, I was 40. When I lived in Newfoundland, I felt 25. When I visited George Street, I felt 70. That place is exhausting. But it's cool.
