A nice little city park used for all kinds of events ranging from craft fairs to music festivals. In the summer you can catch a movie under the stars and in the winter there is an ice surface and you can go skating.

Very nice to see the reenactment of the changing of the guards and listen to the bagpipes. Right down town and lots to see in the area.

During the milder months, there are many events held here. There is everything from plays, music, cultural events, holiday celebrations, and so much more that take place in Fredericton's Town Square.

We did get a premium spot to watch the changing of the guard on the balcony of the museum in the square. It was interesting and the soldiers did well in their marching and piping and drumming. There seemed to be a narrator (on speakers...More

Not as good as the Ottawa Changing of the Guard, but neat to see. Be warned, they shoot off the riffles and if you little one isn't expecting it, it's rather loud.

I heard the City of Fredericton is going to make this better, but at this point, it is basically a big empty square of grass. The changing of the guard is something to see - try to catch that in the summer months.

We love the free concerts at Officers' Square which are usually held two nights a week during summer months. Over the years they have upgraded the square by building public washrooms and a larger stage. There is a bit of controversy going on at the...More

Officer's Square is open to the public all the time. As for the museum, I do not know but you could check with the City of Fredericton on-line. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your visit!
