The church is beautiful, but the neighborhood seems to be a bit sketchy. Very interesting sculpture of Jesus as a homeless man on a bench in front of the church. Thought provoking.

This Cathedral (Roman Catholic) and Christ Church Cathedral (Anglican and located on the NE corner of West Georgia and Burrard Streets) are magnificent structure (both are must sees). The two Cathedrals are within walking distance from each other.

I attend mass every weekend, sometime on Saturdays sometimes on Sundays. Good music, good sermons. Comfortable seats, good temperature in the summer.

This Church is a gem. We popped in before our lunch at Peaceful and were glad we did. The Stain Glass is truly a work of art at Lady of the Holy Rosary.

Closest hotel and one with excellent amenities, service, & accommodations is L'Hermitage. It is less than 2 blocks up Richards St. from the cathedral. The cathedral has four daily masses and confession several times a day... More
