We only had one day to see Vancouver so we spent it with The Tour Guys! In the morning we walked through Gastown with Marla who is fascinating and entertaining. In the afternoon, we opted for a private tour of Chinatown with Ali. He has...More
Fun way to learn history, explore, find great places to shop and eat, and get fresh air. I would definitely recommend this walking tour! My friend and I went on two walks. Fun fun, passionate and knowledgeable tour guides on both walks. Remember to bring...More
We did the above 2 hr tour with Emma, she was fantastic, answered all questions! I fear some people may pay her too little and these tours will not be sustainable for people with Emma's knowledge to continue doing these! It was a tour full...More
Thank you to Erik from Vancouver Tour Guys for a clear concise narration of the history of Vancouver and its buildings. We really enjoyed the 2 tours we took - "Downtown Vancouver and Waterfront" and "Granville Street and Gastown" which was 2 hours for each...More
Emma is fun and engaging and the 2 hours passed by in the wink of an eye. The tour route was well-designed and it was great that the group had only about 15 people. I enjoyed learning about some of Vancouver’s history through her architecture.
Went on 2 tours with Erik (Chinatown) and Emma (Wavefront) and both were excellent! Took around 2 hrs each and provided history and facts about areas, history and architecture. Both were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Particularly enjoyed the Chinese Gardens and the Marine Building. Would...More
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
