My husband and I went on both a whale and bear watching excursion with this company on our honeymoon in Tofino. We had an incredible experience on both tours! On the whale watching tour, the weather was perfect. We saw several humpback and grey whales as well as seals, sea lions and sea otters. Our captain was also very informative and friendly. We stayed an extra 30 minutes to watch more whales too! We did the bear excursion with the same captain. We were with one other couple this time. It was raining, but we still saw bears! Our captain took the time to explain the area and the bears. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the area!!

A great afternoon of whale watching. Saw eagles, sea otters and many, many sighting of gray whales. The staff were excellent. This tour group came recommended and we were not disappointed. Definitely recommend West Coast Aquatic Safaris.

I chose to do this excursion while my friend went surfing. It was the perfect activity to do alone. The staff on the boat are super knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area, and they made sure we saw a variety of animals. We saw Orange Crush, the famous whale. We also saw seals, a bald eagle, and sea otters. They provide raincoats free of charge, and I would recommend taking one as I got completely soaked. Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone.

We went o late afternoon bear watch. The boat was well maintained and had plenty of room to move around. Captain Jack’s knew where to go and was and expert navigator. As well both onshore staff and the Captain are very patient and professional with people. Thank you for a fantastic tour.

We called them last minute for a whale tour in the morning. We saw humpback, grey whale and so many sea otters. When we got to the whale part of the water, the water was very chopping and our captain checked up on us to make sure we weren't too sea sick. Also, their jackets kept us warm. The whale tour was so amazing, so we decided to book for a bear tour the next day. This was one of the highlights of our trip. We saw a mama bear and 2 cubs trying to find food. On our way back, our captain Keith, threw in a surprise for us and we saw some orcas in the bay. Thank you for an amazing adventure. I highly recommend these 2 tours to anyone who wants to get close to nature at its purest form.
