Beautiful architecture in this beautiful renaissance town. It's very small but an absolute gem of a town. The staff of the museum are really friendly and helpful and you can visit all the sights easily in an afternoon. Great location for instagram shots!!!

This is an undervisited gem. A perfect example of Renaissance architecture and culture. Mid July and very few tourists. A must see.

One walks into it almost seamlessly from the Palazzo Giardino. A beautiful example of Renaissance architecture, both inside and outside. Longer than the Mirror Gallery in Versailles, once devoted to VG's marble collection and now empty of it, it still retains all of the grandeur...More

Ridiculous Sabbioneta is not listed at the top of Mantua Province top destinations! Beside being an UNESCO Heritage Site the small town is unique in its offering a coherent, unspoiled and well preserved Renaissance architecture. Somehow, but not surprisingly very little 'lively' it could do...More
