Do not forget to step out of the Flåm train when passing the waterfall - it is amazing and best experienced from outside of the train. Also, if you stay at the Vathnahalsen fjellhotell, you can easily walk to the waterfall and see it from...More

The waterfall is absolutely amazing...if you can work your way thru the pushy people and get up to actually see it. Dumping a trainload of people off and only having a few minutes to see it makes for a bunch of rude, pushy and inconsiderate...More

If you take the train from Flåm to Myrdal, it's an old-fashion model, very charming. The train has TV with some of the history and curiosity. It stops at the Kjosfossen Waterfall, where you can get off the train for 15min and appreciate the view....More

It was a surprise when Flam train had its stop by the waterfall. It was entertainment with dancing women on the slopes of the mountain. This is reflection of legend about huldras that lived in the forests there

When travelling on the Flam train, there will be a stop at this waterfall. Because you are so close to the water, view is magnificent, but expect to catch some water drops to land on you.

This is a lovely waterfall which is right on the nutshell tour. It has a free fall of 305 feet with ample amounts of water overflowing. If lucky, you can even catch a rainbow here. It is both worth a visit and easy to visit.
