We stayed in Branscombe and followed the country walk to the beach. It was a lovely walk, then we came across the beach, breath taking. Lots of space and a lovely green in front of the ice cream shop and café.

Sounds like a good solution! If you really must take car into village the village hall let's you park for a donation, that way you are supporting the community not greedy business.

As others have said we parked in the village. And walked to the beach. In part to avoid the parking issues. Don’t be put off the location is lovely.
