We had visited Beer and decided to call at Branscombe beach on our way home. First of all, the road down to the beach can be a little bit traumatic. It is almost single track in some parts and there are very few passing places....More

Coming from Branscombe village we walked over the cloff towards Beers. here on the beach is a monumment of the anchor of a large container ship that lost many containers with motor bikes and other stuff, and was stranded here to be salvaged. Just next...More

Unspoilt, shingle beach that shelves quickly, safe and good for dogs but not great for swimming. Clean, accessible and a bit of a sun trap

Stopped by on the way back from Pecorama. Only stayed a short time enough for an ice cream with our grandson. I’m horrified to read all these terrible car park reviews. I so hope we don’t get a fine even though we bought an hour...More

We were lucky. We stayed in a cabin on the beach and parking was covered BUT the staff at the car park were unbelievable. Rude doesn't even come close. I took a bag of rubbish that had been left to their multiple bins and popped...More

I was told to keep hold of my parking ticket as the car park owners will send you a fine for £60 hoping that you throw away your ticket. Well the fine came through today. BE AWARE pay by card or keep your ticket.

As others have said we parked in the village. And walked to the beach. In part to avoid the parking issues. Don’t be put off the location is lovely.
